The driver's phone shows only today's route. Drivers change the order of stops themselves when there is traffic or a child is not coming. The program suggests an order, and Google Maps leads to the next stop. For every child they tap: on board, absent or not found.
The map shows where every bus is, how many children are on board and who is absent. The school sets up routes, stops and buses itself. Every stop is a point on the map, not a vague address.
In the Dija app, parents see when their child got on and off and how many minutes until the bus reaches their stop, on a live map. When the child is not coming, parents report it themselves with one tap, and the driver sees it right away.
Phone notifications work on Android and on iPhone once Dija is added to the Home Screen. Without a smartphone, the office sends parents a WhatsApp message with one click.
The driver only sees “absent”, never the reason. The bus location is shared only during the trip and deleted after 7 days.
Dija runs in the browser on computer, tablet and phone, without installation. Permissions are checked in the database itself, not just on screen.

Dija on your computer, as an app
Install Dija on your computer in two clicks: open app.dijaschool.com in Chrome or Edge and click “Install” in the address bar. On a Mac with Safari: File, “Add to Dock”. Dija opens in its own window, with an icon on the desktop and taskbar, and updates itself.
Open Dija to installGrades by term, approved by the principal before parents see them. The scale follows the country: 4 to 10 in Albania, 1 to 5 in Kosovo, words in the first grades. The school adjusts the scale, subjects and terms itself.
The internal report as PDF carries the school logo. The official certificate still comes from SMIP.
SMIP has no interface for outside software, and entering data automatically with other people's e-Albania accounts is not allowed. So we do not promise a link.
Instead Dija has the SMIP assistant: grades subject by subject, students by surname, with a copy button, a tick for every grade transferred and a list for Excel. Transferring data into SMIP becomes much faster.
